Halloween- It's spooky Fun!

Halloween is a time for ghost, witches, goblins, wizards (Yes, Harry Potter), and magicians! I was reminded how much magic really goes with Halloween as I drove through Salem, MA yesterday for a birthday party! Most of the stores even had magical or witch names to them:) Halloween parties put on by the community fire departments to private neighborhood parties all need an element of fun to engage children or adults alike. Halloween brings out the kid in all of us:) If you have children or grandchildren you might be planning a Halloween party or extravaganza for the whole neighborhood. The Magic of Children

My son is 5 years old and everything he does is magical. He has autism so every gain (new word, new activity, social interaction..is magical!!!) As I mentioned in an early post he goes to an amazing school in Portland ' All aboard Preschool' which is focused on educating autistic children. I highly recommend it to any and all parents. Just in the last couple days he has really taken on an interest in magic...he is watching me and trying to emulate my actions (very amazing and amusing.) Teaching the secrets of ‘the art of magic!’

How young should children be to start learning magic illusions and the 'art of magic?'   Children are very creative in terms of not filtering thoughts and ideas as much as adults do.  So when you present a challenge to children they are not canceling out ideas before suggesting or trying them out.
